What should I do first after a biohazard incident?
Make sure everyone is safe and call 911 if anyone is hurt or in danger. If police or a medical examiner are involved, wait until the scene is released. Keep people and pets away from the area, do not try to clean blood or fluids yourself, avoid throwing anything away if you plan an insurance claim, and call a professional biohazard cleanup company.

Who is responsible for cleaning up a biohazard scene?
Generally the property owner. Police, fire and medical examiners do not clean scenes.
Can I clean it up myself?
We do not recommend it. Blood and bodily fluids can carry bloodborne pathogens, and contamination often spreads beyond what you can see.
Is biohazard waste regular trash?
No. Blood-soaked materials and sharps are regulated waste and must be handled and transported properly. We are fully licensed to transport medical waste and sharps.
How fast can you respond?
We answer 24/7 and usually arrive the same day, often within hours in the Nashville area.
How long does cleanup take?
Many jobs take a few hours to a day. Larger scenes, sewage drying and hoarding cleanouts can take several days.
Do I need to be there?
No. We can coordinate access with a family member, landlord or property manager.
Will neighbors know why you are there?
No. Our vehicles are unmarked and our crews are discreet.
What happens to personal belongings?
They are set aside, protected and cleaned when possible. Nothing is discarded without your approval.
Does insurance cover biohazard cleanup?

It depends on the situation. See what affects cost.
